VIPs in the Kobenzl
A small photo gallery, personal dedications in the guest book and at last brass name-plates on the chairs in the restaurant commemorate of the numerous prominent guests, which have spent their Salzburg vacation at the hotel Kobenzl.
Marianne and Rupert Herzog describe the visit of the former American President Richard Nixon as the climax of their career. He recognized the VIP-service he savoured during his stay with a personal thank-you letter.
Also, numerous other stars valued the Kobenzl as residence and recourse in equal measures. Margret Thatcher, the Royal House of Saudi Arabia, Herbert Grönemeyer, Jessy Norman, José Carreras, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many other celebrities, whose names have to remain unannounced due to discretion, many other personalities visited our hotel during the Salzburg Festival, at state visits or during their private vacation.
Especially the remote location of the hotel is a key argument for VIP-guests. Beyond celebrity hype and flash lights, our famous guests have an ideal possibility to experience private moments in the Vitalhotel Kobenzl which would be impossible anywhere else. Having breakfast unvarnished on the private balcony or enjoying the sunshine without a Paparazzi lurking anywhere is that unique luxury that celebrities truly appreciate during their stay at the Vitalhotel Kobenzl.
